Description

Alloy steel bars are solid cylindrical or rectangular of alloy steel steel that are used in a variety of industrial applications. They are typically produced in a range of sizes and grades.

The specific combination of elements used in a an alloy steel bar determines its properties, such as increased strength, hardness, and resistance to wear and corrosion. for example, a high-strength low alloy (HSLA) steel bar may be used in construction applications, white a stainless steel bar may be used in applications that require resistance to corrosion.

alloy steel bars are commonly used in construction, manufacturing and machinery applications, where their improved properties provide a significant advantage over traditional carbon steel.

Grades: En19, En24, En31, En47, 8620, En353, 20Mncr5
Sizes : 20 mm to 200mm
Make : Mukund, jsw, musco, vivan steel

Grades

EN19 steel bright round bar is an engineering alloy steel containing chromium and molybdenum. EN19 welding rod comes under the class of low alloy steel. EN19 round bars have high fatigue strength, abrasion and impact resistance, toughness, and torsion strength.

Element C Si Mn P S Cr Mo Fe
Carbon(%) 0.35-0.45 0.15-0.30 0.50 – 0.80 0.035 0.040 0.90 - 1.50 0.20 - 0.40 96.78 - 97.77

EN24 steel Bright bar is a very high strength steel alloy which is supplied hardened and tempered. The grade is a nickel chromium molybdenum combination – this offers high tensile steel strength, with good ductility and wear resistance characteristics. With relatively good impact properties at low temperatures, EN24 is also suitable for a variety of elevated temperature applications.

EN31 Steel bright bar is a very high strength steel alloy which is hardened and tempered before supplying and has nickel, chromium, molybdenum making it high tensile steel strength, with good ductility and wear resistance. With relatively good impact properties at low temperatures, EN31 is also suitable for a variety of elevated temperature applications.

Hardening steel for parts which require core tensile strength of 1000 – 1300 N/mm² and good wearing resistance.

It is used in boxes, piston bolts, spindles, camshafts, gears, shafts and other mechanical controlling parts.

EN353 is a very high strength steel alloy which is hardened and tempered before supplying and has nickel, chromium, molybdenum making it high tensile steel strength, with good ductility and wear resistance. With relatively good impact properties at low temperatures, EN353 is also suitable for a variety of elevated temperature applications.
